The Process
Before
This house had a gorgeous backyard with a small concrete patio… but it was definitely missing something!
2D Drawing
Our designer went out, took measurements and pictures, and came up with this design. After discussion with the owner and the choosing of materials, they headed over to our queue!
3D Design
Once those materials were chosen, they received 3D designs while in the queue. These designs took the designer’s vision and the customer’s material choices, blended them, and created a visual to look forward to!
The Final Product
This North KC patio really shows how spaces can be transformed. We took the patio a customer already had, poured concrete to extend the square footage, and overlayed everything with a beautiful, time-tested paver — Belgard! They also received a seating upgrade; now not only can people cozy around a fire pit but there is a seating wall for not only added space but also for a beautiful complimentary vertical element.
Our designers also brought the beautiful dark border upwards, tieing it in with the space by placing a band in the seating wall and columns. Each project we do is tailor-made for the client’s wants and needs while keeping true to our love for well-crafted, beautiful spaces; and we think this patio definitely hit the mark!
