KC Hardscapes was 1 of 3 who quoted us on an outdoor project that involved an outdoor kitchen/bar area by our pool. They were very reliable, had GREAT follow-up and transparency in the original job (to include large bar area with under lights, open shelving on the back side, and most importantly a built in smoker and grill on the book ends), and were very flexible with some slight tweaks during the process. They did such an awesome job we had them come back and knock out an old "retaining wall" to add a complimentary 16 foot seating wall with lights at the opposite end of our pool. We are already planning to have them come back out to quote (and work) 2 more future jobs outside to include extending a paver patio, as well as outdoor fireplace.

We had Kansas City Hardscapes install a fire pit with seating area, a grill station, brick-lined paths, and a pond with waterfall. We couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out. Derek and his crew were the best contractors we have used hands down. We really appreciated Derek’s hands-on approach, especially with his help in selecting materials. He was on-site daily, not only supervising but actually doing the work. It’s clear he has a real passion and knowledge for what he does. We love our new paver patio and steps built by Kansas City Hardscapes! We now have a seating wall to define the area and add extra seating, as well as a beautiful pergola to add shade to part of the patio. Mark was great in working out a design for the project, helping us pick out pavers that we love while fitting into our budget and suggesting different options to make our patio special. The crews were polite and worked with us when minor adjustments needed to be made during the construction. And when we were done, the owners made sure that we were happy with the results.

They are very easy to work with even though we had to reschedule our project multiple times due to family health issues.
